Lolo Jones has been on the wrong end of a lot of harsh criticism over the last week, but that hasn’t deterred her from doing what she came to London to do.
Despite some strange claims that she’s more style than substance, whatever that means, Jones once again proved her doubters wrong in Tuesday afternoon’s women’s 100-meter hurdles semifinals when she earned a berth for herself in the final round.
All praise aside, though, Jones did finish third in her heat with a time of 12.71 seconds – meaning that while she did squeak out a spot in today’s final, it won’t be easy for her to medal.
