2012 Olympics Video: Justin Gatlin Breezes into 100-Meters Men’s Final

| by Alex Groberman

American runner Justin Gatlin continued to be one of the most fascinating stories of the 2012 London Olympics as he breezed into the 100-meters final on Sunday.

Gatlin finished first in his semifinals heat with a time of 9.82 seconds; Yohan Blake and Usain Bolt ran their semifinals heats in 9.85 and 9.87 seconds, respectively.

While it’s hard to compare runners across different heats, there is no denying that Gatlin is a contender to win the whole thing at Sunday’s 100-meter final.
