American gymnast Aly Raisman sort of flew under the radar at the 2012 Olympics, but it can easily be argued that she had the most successful run out of any of the Fab Five in London.
Sure, Gabby Douglas’ triumphs were more historic. Yes, Jordyn Wieber's initial failure was more newsworthy.
But when it was all said and done, Raisman’s accomplishments -- first USA women’s gold in floor exercise, three total medals, etc. -- are as impressive as anything any American athlete not named Michael Phelps has come away with from this year’s games.
On Wednesday, Raisman sat down with the Today Show and talked about everything that’s gone down over the last week and change. Via NBC:
