The 2012 Olympics went out with a bang on Sunday night.
Everyone sort expected that the good folks of London would throw the party of all parties to wrap things up, especially given what the Opening Ceremony looked like. But whereas the start to this year’s Games was marked by a lot off odd acting and mildly entertaining musical numbers, the Closing Ceremony brought out all the big guns.
Who are the big guns? George Michael, The Who, that one random pop band that all the teen girls are in love with now and, of course, the Spice Girls.
Yes, the Spice Girls. You can pretend like don’t enjoy them, but you’d only be lying to yourself.
