Video: Should Predators’ Shea Weber be Suspended for Hitting Red Wings’ Henrik Zetterberg?

| by Alex Groberman

At the end of the Nashville Predators’ 3-2 victory over the Detroit Red Wings Wednesday night, the winning side’s captain inexplicably made himself a prime candidate for a suspension from the NHL.

The completely unnecessary move by Shea Weber came in response to Henrik Zetterberg checking him into the boards as the outing came to a close. While Zetterberg’s hit was mildly questionable, the fact that Weber grabbing his head and slamming it into the glass twice wasn’t the right response is pretty obvious.
