The Philadelphia Flyers defeated the New York Rangers 5-2 in Game 6 of the first round of the NHL's Metropolitan Division Playoffs last night.
Some of the action at the hockey game occurred in the stands where a fight broke out in the third period (video below).
According to NJ.com, two Rangers' fans reportedly exchanged blows with a Flyers' fan. The two Rangers' fans were reportedly kicked out of the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
A witness told DeadSpin.com, "The kid wearing the Blue Rangers jersey with the letters going diagonal down his chest was egging the crowd all game taunted screaming, acting like a typical drunk teenager. Usher came up to calm him down, [he] didn't listen."

"The real security guards attempted to pull him out of his seats where he resisted and that's where he flailed his arms [not in video] and hit a flyers fan. Brawl ensued. The kid who was wearing the jersey and hat fled the scene and left his friends to get their a****** beat, after doing nothing," added the witness.
The New York Daily News reports that security guards were overheard talking about blood on an “idiot Flyers fan’s face.”
There was also several skirmishes between the Flyers and Rangers players.
Game 7 will be played at Madison Square Garden tonight.
