Weather Channel’s Jim Cantore Tebows During Hurricane Isaac Coverage (Video)

| by Alex Groberman

Everyone knows that weathermen are the crazy uncles of professional news, but what the Weather Channel’s Jim Cantore did during his Hurricane Isaac report was weird even for people of his ilk.

During what was presumably a legitimate reporting of the damage and ruins that Isaac was causing, Cantore inexplicably decided to invoke the name of God (read: Tim Tebow) into the broadcast. Then he got down on one knee and Tebowed.

The whole thing was just as strange as it sounds.

Check it out:

Live action storm coverage is pretty absurd in general but, if there was a way to make it look even more pointless, Tebowing just for the sake of filling up airtime is it.
