Video: Josh Morgan Costs RGIII, Redskins a Win vs. Rams

| by Alex Groberman

In what will surely go down as the stupidest move of this young NFL season, Josh Morgan cost his team any and all shot at a come-from-behind victory when he lost his cool late in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game versus the St. Louis Rams.

With the Washington Redskins down by three and a potential tie in sight, Morgan turned a near first down into 4th and 16 when he chucked the ball at Cortland Finnegan for no good reason whatsoever. That, in turn, forced Washington to send in Billy Cundiff to tie the game up with a 62-yard field goal – one that he missed, of course.

The Rams wound up winning 31-28.
