Tim Tebow Asked for This Picture of Him with Scantily Clad Broadway Women to be Taken Down

| by Alex Groberman

Tim Tebow is no doubt a very virtuous guy. His relationship with God and desire to do good is beyond reproach at this point. That being said, when someone (read: anyone) does stuff with the pre-condition of, “I’ll do it so long as there are no pictures,” people would probably be wise to raise an eyebrow as to why that’s the case.

This past weekend, Neka Zang, a Broadway actress from the “Rock of Ages” musical, claimed that Tebow asked her to remove this photo from her Twitter account:

Here was why she did it, via a since-deleted tweet that was captured by TMZ:

"Well, Due to Tebow's "image" I was asked to remove the pic of him with us half dressed ladies. He does know we arn't real strippers right?"

There are two things to take away from this mess. First and foremost, had Tebow not raised the fuss that he allegedly raised, nobody would have even noticed this photo. As usual, the cover-up garners more attention than the non-crime. Two, and more importantly, Tebow is beginning to pay a troubling amount of attention to his personal brand. When you’re this sensitive over a photo that nobody would care about either way just because you’re afraid it may harm your image, that’s a problem.

It’d be a shame if Tebow, a guy who originally stole the show just by virtue of his genuine goodness, became more concerned with branding himself as a quality person than actually being a quality person.
