Tim Tebow is a good guy. They say good things happen to good people. If that is the case, though, then why has the New York Jets’ backup quarterback been the victim of nothing but bad luck as of late?
This past Monday night, the Jets played themselves out of postseason contention when they lost a game they clearly should have won to the Tennessee Titans. Tebow got a bit of run in that outing, but not enough to develop any sort of rhythm. In the limited action he did get, he was terrible – and that didn’t go unnoticed.
As bad as Tebow was when he played, Mark Sanchez (the Jets’ starting quarterback) was ten times worse. He legitimately threw his team out of the game, and less than 24 hours after all was said and done, he was promptly benched by Rex Ryan. That should have been good news for Tebow – he is the backup after all. It wasn’t. Rather than naming his No. 2 quarterback as the new starter, Ryan named Greg McElroy the starter for next week’s outing.
Clearly the Jets want no part of Tebow. A trade or cut will inevitably come once the season wraps.

As if his on-the-field woes weren’t bad enough, apparently Tebow has some problems off the field, too. According to U.S. Weekly, he and girlfriend Camilla Belle have recently broken up.
After less than two months of dating, the New York Jets quarterback and actress Camilla Belle have called it quits, a source tells Us Weekly exclusively.
Explains the source of Tebow, 25, and Belle, 26: "It just didn't work out."
Yikes. When it rains, it pours.
