Chad Ochocinco is officially a free agent after being released by the New England Patriots Thursday afternoon.
The Patriots were looking for potential teams who might be interested in trading for Chad, but they couldn't find any suitors before the 4 PM deadline.
Ochocinco was unable to ever really understand the team's playbook, which in turn led to him having his worst statistical season ever last year.
According to this article by ESPN Insider, these teams might be interested in picking up Chad's services: Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings and the St. Louis Rams.
Cleveland would definitely like Ochocinco on their squad. With Brandon Weeden as the new quarterback, Ochocinco could be a somewhat reliable target. Buffalo could also use him to pair with Stevie Johnson. Ryan Fitzpatrick struggled last season and if he has more targets, it would obviously be a good thing.
Miami recently had to trade Brandon Marshall, so they could definitely use Ochocinco as their new possible deep-threat.
The Vikings don't have all that many receiving targets, and they really need to help out Christian Ponder. Pairing Ochocinco with guys like Jerome Simpson and Percy Harvin would definitely help.
And, of course, there are the St. Louis Rams.
Where do you think would be the best fit for Chad?
