Some of these aren't technically "Falcons" links but they do involve our rivals or opponents so enjoy.....

Now On the Internet, It's Mike Vick Injury Bingo!

So that prompted Robert Littal from the website, BlackSportsOnline, to post a game: “Mike Vick Injury Bingo.” The game’s winning squares include generic injuries like, “Concussion” and “Rib injury,” but it adds others like, “Eagle Fan Hits Him With Battery,” and, of course, “Dog Bite.”

Vilma Bans Goodell from his Restaurant

Vilma has fought the suspension hard since the beginning trying to clear his name and hasn't been afraid to go where no professional athlete has gone before in speaking out against his comissioner.  The latest step in Vilma's quest is to give Roger Goodell a taste of his own medicine.  Vilma has banned Roger Goodell from his Miami restaurant, Brother Jimmy's BBQ. Vindictive?  Maybe.  Awesome?  God, yes.

Falcons Need to Improve Red-Zone Efficiency Against Miami

The offense as a whole has underperformed when nearing the goal line. As evidence, through two exhibition games, the Falcons are the No. 2 team in the NFL with an average of 408 yards per game. Atlanta has converted that into just 36 points, 20th-best in the league. Two preseason games is relatively nothing in the context of an NFL season, but the trend has caught Ryan's attention.

Jacquizz Rodgers An Emerging Threat for Atlanta

In Rodgers' rookie season, he ran for 205 yards on 57 carries while catching 21 passes for 188 yards. He also scored two touchdowns (one rushing and one receiving). He's in line to receive increased carries this season, and he could also see some meaningful time on special teams.

Of All the "Overrated" Players, Turner Might Be the Most Underrated

For starters, let's consider Turner's end-of-season collapse in 2011. When experts discuss those final weeks, we typically don't mention the groin injury that kept Turner out of practices in December. And we generally tell you to ignore his 172-yard effort in Week 17 against the Bucs, because they were the Bucs. And obviously we don't want you distracted by all those other weeks, from September to November, when he gained the majority of his NFC-leading 1340 rushing yards. And please, don't get tripped up by his 11 touchdowns, his 4.5 YPC average, or the four runs that went for 50-plus yards. Or the 11 that went for 20-plus.
