Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Richie Incognito was suspended indefinitely on Sunday for allegedly bullying fellow Dolphin Jonathan Martin.
Two anonymous sources close to the situation told the Boston Globe that Incognito sent text messages to Martin that were racist and threatening.
Incognito, who is in the last year of his $13 million, three-year contract, is white, while Martin, who has left the team, is black.
Now, TMZ has unearthed a video (below) shot months ago of Incognito going into a strange rant at Dirty Blondes, a pool hall and bar in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
The shirtless player enters Dirty Blondes and shouts, "Mike Pouncey, [N-word]! F--- this shirt! Who owns the m----- f----- place!"
Incognito then storms around the bar while customers watch the NFL player act strangely.
The all-pro guard has reportedly led the league in penalties for unnecessary roughness and was cut by the St. Louis Rams during the 2009 season.
‘‘There’s certain people out there who are just punks, and he wants to be that kind of guy,’’ former Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions defensive end Lawrence Jackson told the Boston Globe. ‘‘But because he’s a lineman, he gets away with a lot of stuff that people don’t see. Incognito is way worse than anybody I ever played against.’’
