According to, Tebow announced on Twitter today: "Due to new information that has been brought to my attention, I have decided to cancel my upcoming appearance. I will continue to use the platform that God has blessed me with to bring Faith, Hope and Love to all those needing a brighter day."

Pastor Jeffress has claimed that Catholicism is Satanic,  Mormonism and Islam are from the “pit of Hell" and said President Obama was “paving the way for the future reign of the anti-christ.”

Pastor Jeffress has called homosexuals “perverse,” “miserable” and “abnormal” people who are using "Chinese brainwashing techniques that have been used for hundreds of years" to get people to accept homosexuality as a "normal alternative lifestyle."

In an interview today with Tim Wildmon, the president of the American Family Association, Pastor Jeffress said that Tebow told him that “he would like to come back to our church at a later date” once the current controversy blows over (video below).
