Video: Colts Cheerleaders Shave Heads to Show Support for Chuck Pagano

| by Alex Groberman

Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano took a leave of absence this year after announcing that he had been diagnosed with leukemia. Since making his battle with the disease known, Pagano has received unwavering support from his players, fans and, most recently, the Colts cheerleaders.

On Sunday, in front of more than 60,000 fans at Lucas Oil Stadium, two cheerleaders (Megan M. and Crystal Ann) got their heads shaved in order to raise money for leukemia research. When it was all said and done, over $22,000 was raised.

“It was really overwhelming. People were cheering so loud and I could just feel the pride they had for our team that we were able to do something like this,” Megan M. told Fox News.

“I think everyone hopes they can make a difference in their life and hopefully that’s what we did yesterday.”
