With about three minutes remaining in Saturday’s game against the New England Patriots, the Denver Broncos suddenly realized that they should probably start showing some signs of life. And so, after Brady punted the ball away all the way to the other side of the field, Denver rookie defensive phenom Von Miller randomly (and stupidly) picked a fight with about four New England players who soundly beat him into the ground.
If it makes anyone feel any better – nobody got their hands on Tim Tebow in this unfortunate brawl. At the same time, seeing as Tom Brady had only three less touchdown passes (six) than Tebow had completions for the game (nine), it’s probably safe to say that Tebow’s pride took the biggest hit of all on Saturday.
