Full-time touchdown celebrator and part-time NFL wide receiver Stevie Johnson did it again this past Sunday when he busted out a nifty new celebration in the first quarter of his squad’s eventual loss to the New England Patriots. Johnson, don’t forget, is the man who famously brought fans everywhere a touchdown celebration featuring him mocking Plaxico Burress shooting himself in the leg during a game versus the New York Jets not too long ago.
This time around Johnson’s celebration was much tamer. Rather than hilariously making fun of an incident that led to an NFL player having to serve time in prison, the Bills wide receiver merely lifted up his jersey to reveal a shirt wishing everyone a happy New Year. It was a nice thought, really.
And one which got him benched by a head coach that grew tired of Johnson’s shenanigans a long time ago.
