A few weeks ago, it looked like this could be a very important game for 2 teams that might possibly be in the middle of the Wild Card hunt. Two weeks and 4 losses later, though, that doesn’t seem to be the case.
To be fair, these two teams seem to be headed in two different directions. The Dolphins have completely collapsed over the last two weeks, losing a tough one to the Colts and getting destroyed by the Titans at home. The Bills on the other hand, have lost their last two, BUT they were in both games late in the 4th quarter, on the road, against New England and Houston.
Plus, last place in the AFC East is up for grabs! What’s more entertaining than that?
What you should watch for:
C.J. Spiller has been putting up ridiculous numbers all year while splitting carries with Fred Jackson. This week, with Jackson out with an injury, it will be interesting to see how Spiller will handle a fuller workload against a pretty solid Miami run defense.
On the other sideline, we’ll have to wait and see if the Miami offense can figure out a way to score some points. The Dolphins have scored a total of 6 points in their last 6 quarters of football against two teams ranked near the bottom of the league in defense (Colts and Titans).
This game is really tough to call because of how streaky the Dolphins have been this season. Based on how well the Bills have played the last two weeks though, I am going to assume that they will be even just as good, if not better, at home.
The Dolphin’s offense should finally be able to find it’s groove against a weak Bills defense, but it’s not enough. Bills by a touchdown
