Antrel Rolle Says Prince Amukamara Is Playing Better Because He's Getting Laid

| by Jonathan Wolfe

Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara is currently enjoying his best season as a pro. Amukamara struggled with injuries and inconsistent player during his first three seasons, but he’s been lights out for the Giants so far this year.

What’s the reason for Amukamara’s marked improvement? If you ask teammate Antrel Rolle, the answer is simple: sex.

Amukamara, a devout Christian, publicly stated in the past that he was abstaining from sex before marriage. He got married earlier this year, and Rolle says the pleasures he’s enjoyed in the months since have boosted his swagger.

"There are a lot of things different about Prince,” Rolle told NJ.com. “For one, he's married, so he's (enjoying some things that he wasn't experiencing before he's married). For a man, that could definitely help him out. For a man ... I'm just being honest ... it's helping him out. He walks around with a little more swagger, which is something that we need, which is something that we love.”

Rolle says Amukamara, 25, is playing better as he is “developing more as a man.”

"I think it all ties into one another, as far as him getting married, being able to [have sex]," Rolle said. "He's just developing more as a man and accepting challenges and being the dominant player that we need him to be that we know he's capable of."

There you have it, Giants fans. Next time Amukamara muscles up and snags an interception, thank his wife.
