According to a statement from the school released Sunday evening, team physician Dr. Greg Stewart said Walker underwent three hours of surgery to stabilize his spine at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. The release said Walker will be in the ICU for at least the next few days, and it will be several days before doctors can assess his condition.

We'll continue to keep an eye on how Walker deals with this situation all season.
