College Football Recruiting: South Carolina Loses Tramel Terry to Georgia

| by

The South Carolina Gamecocks football recruiting efforts failed for the second time to land Tramel Terry. The young man decided again to give his verbal to sign with the Georgia Bulldogs.

The 6-foot, 180-pound wide receiver from Goose Creek (S.C.) High School picked the Bulldogs over South Carolina and Clemson, among his 20 scholarship offers.

This is not the first time he has given a verbal for UGa Terry originally committed to the Dawgs on “Dawg Night” but backed off the pledge a couple of months later to consider other options. He privately committed again to UGA on a Feb. 24 Junior Day and went public with it on Tuesday.

Don't think USC has given up on him. They will try to turn him but it could prove hard this time around. Hate to see what some consider the State's top football prospect jump over the border.
