Former Alabama offensive tackle D.J. Fluker dropped a bomb on the sports world this past Monday night when he revealed that he accepted money during his time with the Crimson Tide.

Sort of.

As soon as he got some backlash for his tweet, Fluker deleted it. But not before the good folks at SB Nation were able to capture a screen shot of it. Was he hacked? That's the million dollar question.

As noted by CBS Sports, if you look through his past messages, you can see pretty clearly that Fluker pays a lot of attention to grammar when he tweets. The one above doesn’t look like it was sent out by someone who puts much care into spelling out words entirely.

Plus, we’re 24 hours away from the 2013 NFL Draft. Fluker is a top-10 caliber player – there is no way his handlers would let him do something this dumb so close to pay day.

“We know who did this,” his agent said Deryk Gilmore told al.com.

“This is totally fiction, but I’m waiting to get some proof. I’ve been on the phone with Twitter.”

Make of this matter what you will.
