| by

The next big recruit showcase event is underway in Oregon. The Opening, organized and hosted by Nike, has 150 of the nation's top high school talent for the weekend.

Among those attending include Pen State commits quarterback Christian Hackenberg and cornerback Ross Douglas. Douglas, an Ohio native, was happy to see the new Cleveland Browns gloves designed by Nike. Hackenberg and Douglas also showed their followers what they will be wearing (Hackenberg) this weekend...

In Scores of Other Games...

Phil Steele says Wisconsin is heading to a third straight Rose Bowl this season. You know what they say Badgers. Third time's a charm. For what it is worth, Steele also has Penn State in the Insight Bowl taking on TCU. Also, Florida State (Steele's BCS champ) will ake on Oklahoma in the BCS Championship game. So, no SEC team? Hmmm...

Should Las Vegas determine which four teams advance to the upcoming four-team playoff?
