| by

In the wake of the barage of negative publicity surrounding the Sandusky sex-abuse trial, Penn State got some good news over the weekend. reports that blue-chip Pennsylvania offensive tackle Dorian Johnson has given a verbal commitment to the Nittany Lions.

By securing the pledge of the top OL in the state, coach Bill O'Brien has continued to defy the odds in buildilng an elite recruiting class in just his first year on the job. If Penn State is truly as toxic as the media reports, the recruits surely aren't listening. Analyst Tom Lemming is right; recruits aren't talking about the past Sandusky scandal at all.

Welcome Dorian!
