Nebraska Cornhuskers Move Up in AP, Coaches Polls

Apparently the powers that be behind the AP and Coaches Polls didn’t hear all of the jabber about how the Nebraska Cornhuskers weren’t winning convincingly enough. After Nebraska beat Washington in an exciting showdown on Saturday, they were rewarded with a bump up in the official rankings – coming in at No. 9 in both polls.

Through three games, the Huskers have beaten the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Mocs, Fresno State Bulldogs and, most recently, Huskies. Each of the victories have come by at least 13 points.
