Video: Xavier vs. Cincinnati Brawl; Suspensions Announced

| by Alex Groberman

Eighth-ranked Xavier handily defeated Cincinnati 76-53 on Saturday, but that didn’t end up being the story of the game. Rather, all eyes were on the brawl that ensued when a crosstown rivalry got taken one step too far.

In response to what transpired, Cincinnati suspended three of their players -- senior forward Yancy Gates, junior center Cheikh Mbodj and freshman forward Octavius Ellis -- for six games, and one player -- Ge'Lawn Guyn -- for one.
