Video: Oklahoma Steven Pledger Celebrates Game-Winner Early, Ends Up Missing
On one hand, you have to hand it to Oklahoma’s Steven Pledger – it takes serious you-know-whats to even take a game-winning shot. On the other hand, you never want to be that guy.
With his team down by three and time running out, the confident Pledger found a loose ball knocked into his hands and potential victory within his grasp. Instead of panicking or freezing, the youngster manned up, launched the game-winner and then struck a victorious pose.
Problem is – the shot didn’t go in. Oklahoma wound up losing to Missouri 71-68.
It was a nice pose, though.
Check out Pledger in all his glory below.

For what it's worth, the references to "game-winner" are incorrect...the shot, had it been good, would have tied the game.
