Video: Hampton’s Darrion Pellum Produces Dunk of the Year in February

| by Alex Groberman

You never want to anoint a dunk of the year too early, but Hampton’s Darrion Pellum is leaving us with no choice.

During this past Wednesday’s game versus Maryland Eastern Shore, Pellum came up with a huge defensive stop but didn’t appear to be In ideal position to capitalize on it offensively. Appear is the operative word there. In the best example of making lemonade out of lemons that you’ll ever see in college hoops, Pellum somehow gathered his composure mid-sprint, threw the ball off the backboard and then proceeded to jam it home with a strong two-handed dunk.

Dunk. Of. The. Year.
