Syracuse Basketball: Jim Boeheim Reflects on Year, Loss vs. Ohio State

| by Alex Groberman

The Syracuse Orange’s 2012 basketball campaign was one of the most chaotic ones we’ve seen an innocent group of guys have to go through in recent memory.

Beginning with the allegations made against assistant coach Bernie Fine and ending with a supposedly huge story about a tiny fraction of players over the last decade testing positive for banned substances, it’s felt as though Syracuse was this year’s media punching bag from start to finish.

Despite everything that happened, though, the current batch of players -- all of whom had nothing to do with any of the aforementioned charges -- managed to persevere en route to an amazing run. An amazing run that, unfortunately, was cut short on Saturday afternoon by a fierce Ohio State Buckeyes group that looks to be a very real contender for the National title.

Check out Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim reflecting on the year that was in standard, Jim Boeheim-esque fashion in the Fox Sports video below.
