Presumably realizing that absolutely nobody outside of immediate family cared about their game, Southern Miss and Arizona State decided to spice things up with a mini-brawl this past Monday night. During a routine play, Arizona State’s Ruslan Pateev got shoved out of the way by Torye Pelham of Southern Miss. Rather than immediately retaliating, though, Pateev opted to go the mature route in handling the situation. He waited until Pelham turned his back and then proceeded to pop him with a sucker punch to the back of the head.
It’d actually be pretty funny if it wasn’t so sad.
