After doing everything humanly possible to give away his team’s Round of 32 game against Iowa State, Buckeyes guard Aaron Craft somehow managed to emerge as this weekend’s biggest college hoops hero.
Clearly worn out and having missed three crucial free throws in the closing moments of the outing, Craft somehow found the ball in his hands with time running out and his team locked in a 75-75 tie. Rather than letting his earlier failures bring him down, though, the junior picked up his dribble and nailed a clutch three with .5 seconds remaining on the clock.
