Paul Pierce was a beast on Tuesday night.
The Boston Celtics -- down 0-1 to the Atlanta Hawks and sans their biggest star and most reliable shooter -- would have had a tough time beating the Hawks in four of their next five games had they given away Game 2 in the same way that they essentially gave away Game 1. Pierce realized that.
In an effort that reminded us why we refer to him as The Truth, Pierce put up 36 points and 14 rebounds en route to a 87-80 Boston win.
