Behind a strong 38-point effort from Brook Lopez, the New Jersey Nets pulled off an impressive 93-92 victory versus the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night. Dallas had a chance to win it at the very end, but Dirk Nowitzki was forced to pass out of a double team on two separate occasions, and Jason Kidd eventually threw up a weird buzzer-beater attempt that looked like it had zero chance of going in.
When it was all said and done, though, the story of the night proved not to be Lopez’s strong game, New Jersey’s impressive win or Deron Williams’ potential soon-to-be Mavshood, it wound up being this sick double-alley oop:
