Preseason outings are about as meaningless as any given sporting events can be. They tell you nothing about the teams participating. They tell you nothing about what will happen in the future. And, really, aside from giving guys a chance to work themselves back into playing shape, they don’t actually serve any legitimate purpose, either.
That said, sometimes cool things do happen at preseason games. This is particularly true in the case of preseason basketball games. And yesterday, during a showdown between the Miami Heat and Washington Wizards, LeBron James did something pretty awesome.
