John Wall returned from a lengthy layoff this weekend looking a bit pudgier, but still as ridiculously talented as ever. His team hasn’t lost since.
On Monday he guided the Washington Wizards to their third straight victory, a 120-91 win over the Orlando Magic, but his overall effort won’t be what this outing will be remembered for. No, it won’t be his 12 points in 18 minutes (on three-of-eight shooting) either.
What this game will unquestionably be remembered for is what Wall did to poor Magic point guard, Ish Smith.
Check it out:
Smith finished the game with two points and a +/- of -18. He probably had more points and a better +/- before that dunk, but both were likely reduced on the basis of how embarrassing being on the wrong end of that crossover was.
