| by Alex Groberman

The Houston Rockets have been on an incredible run over the past 12 games. Since right around the middle of December, thanks in large part to the tremendous play of James Harden, the team that started this year off with a particularly brutal first month and a half has recorded nine wins and only three losses. The latest win came in the form of a 104-92 beatdown of the New Orleans Hornets.

Harden led the way for Houston with 31 points (11 of 23 shooting) and seven assists. Omer Asik had 21 points and eight boards. Jeremy Lin pitched in nine points, seven assists and six rebounds. (Plus, only two turnovers.) All in all, five Rockets players finished in double figures.

Meanwhile, Greivis Vasquez led the way for New Orleans with 15 points and 14 assists. Robin Lopez finished with 12 points and eight boards. Austin Rivers scored four points in 17 minutes of action.
