Video: Here is Lakers' Metta World Peace in a Lifetime Movie

| by Alex Groberman

Metta World Peace has been pretty bad through his first two regular season games of the year. After getting a lot of preseason Most Improved Player hype, the Los Angeles Lakers’ enigmatic small forward has averaged 6.5 points on 38.5 percent shooting in losses to the Dallas Mavericks and Portland Trail Blazers. And seeing as the team’s defense was absolutely porous in both outings, he isn’t doing his part on that end of the floor either.

So where is Peace performing? On the Lifetime channel, apparently. The Artist Formerly Known as Ron Artest has a new movie coming out on Nov. 3. It is based on a Nancy Grace novel. (Seriously.)

Here is a clip:

If the Lakers keep losing like they have been, Metta might have a lot of time to act horribly in movies this summer.
