Video: Guy Gets a Ridiculous Tony Parker Portrait Shaved into His Head

| by Alex Groberman

The San Antonio Spurs are one of the NBA’s duller teams. That isn’t a slight against them or the way they handle their business – it’s just who they are. Even though they’re admittedly younger and shockingly effective this year, it’s still hard for them to shake the image and reputation they’ve built up for themselves over the last decade as being an uninteresting ballclub. And because we envision the Spurs as a vanilla, boring team, sometimes we forget that they have their fair share of overzealous, extremely enthusiastic fans.

Case in point: guy-who-shaved-Tony-Parker’s-face-into-his-head.

Check it out:

According to the good folks at Larry Brown Sports, this was done in support of Parker’s MVP candidacy. Unfortunately, while that haircut is really impressive and Parker’s 18-point, eight-assist per game regular season averages were outstanding, the MVP award is taking its talents to Miami this year.

Admirable effort, though. Very admirable.
