Video: Did ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith Use the N-Word on First Take Today?

| by Alex Groberman

First Take was never an especially great show, but it got about ten times worse when the powers that be decided to bring Stephen A. Smith on board. As if Skip Bayless aimlessly trolling sports fans all by himself wasn’t enough, now we have his uninformed sidekick to deal with, too. Their daily routine is unwatchable at this point, really.

Think back: when was the last time First Take made it into the news for a good reason? You know, perhaps for having a good interview? Or maybe because one of the “debaters” made a really salient point? We’ll wait. Anything? Yup, thought so. That’s not to say it doesn’t make news – First Take is often talked about. Just not for any good reasons.

Case in point: today the show is being discussed because of a certain word that Smith may or may not have used.

Notice anything different? Yup, the part in question was removed.
