The Miami Heat have officially entered uncharted territory. Miami has never been down 3-1 in a playoff series in the Big Three era, which can’t make them feel good as they head down to San Antonio to play Game 5 on Sunday.
Chris Bosh spoke last night on the unfamiliar situation he and his Miami teammates find themselves in.
"We've seen our fair share of adversity. This is adversity in all caps," he said. "Being in this hole is different for us, it's different. It's a hard pill to swallow."
Head coach Erik Spoelstra – like his players – seems overwhelmed by the level of excellence his team has run up against in the Spurs.

"They just -- they just, they just played great," Spoelstra said. "I can honestly say I don't think any of us were expecting this type of performance."
The Heat aren’t just losing right now. They’re being dominated. It’s the kind of dominance you expect to see when a one seed plays an eight seed in the opening round of the playoffs, not when the two time defending champs are going for a third title in the Finals.
If the Heat are to pull off the seemingly impossible and come back from this deficit, they’ll need the entire team to take their game to the next level. LeBron can't do it all. James has played well in this series, but it takes a complete team to win against a squad like the Spurs. LeBron addressed this after last night’s game.
“It’s not all on my shoulders,” he said. “It’s not. I understand I get a lot of the limelight in the press and all that, but it’s not all on my shoulders."

There’s no sure thing in sports, so we can’t crown the Spurs yet. With that said, there’s absolutely nothing coming from Miami right now that makes you think they have it in them to pull off the comeback.
