Philly Drug Dealer Busted for Allegedly Selling LeBron James-Inspired Heroin

A Philadelphia drug dealer was arrested last week for allegedly trying to sell LeBron James-inspired heroin. Yes, you read that correctly – the dude was apparently trying to move smack named after the most recent NBA Finals MVP.

On top of just bearing his name, the drugs also reportedly featured a silhouette of LeBron dunking the ball.

According to the Philadelphia Daily News, officers in Upper Darby, Pa. arrested 19-year-old Marlon Guess when he purportedly sold 140 baggies of his product to an undercover officer last Thursday. How much does 140 baggies of LeBron James go for on the streets? A cool $750.

"I don't think LeBron James would be too happy with this drug-dealer dude using his name on these street bags," Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood said (via the Philadelphia Daily News).

I don’t think he would care one way or the other, actually.

In case you were looking to do something similar, trying to peddle LeBron James in Philly landed Guess in jail on a $250,000 bond. It would probably be wise to steer clear of this particular form of entrepreneurship.

"He told the officers, 'Man, I know the drill. I ain't talking. I'll be out on bail tomorrow morning,'" Chitwood said. "Well, he got whacked with $250,000 cash bail, so he's not getting out too soon."

So Guess made a bold prediction that he probably won't live up to, then? No wonder he likes LeBron James so much.
