NBA Preseason Highlights: Los Angeles Lakers vs. Sacramento Kings (Oct. 19)

| by Alex Groberman

The Los Angeles Lakers’ preseason struggles continued on Friday night when they fell to the Sacramento Kings 103-98.

Kobe Bryant finished with 22 points, and Steve Nash chipped in six assists with relatively little effort. Pau Gasol played in this one and, despite the fact that he didn’t look like he was totally right, still finished with 20 points on eight-of-15 shooting.

Metta World Peace had a bad shooting night (four-of-12), however, he filled up the stat sheet with eight boards, three assists and three steals.

The Lakers and Kings will face off again today – this time hopefully with Dwight Howard getting some run.
