There are a lot of ways for young, promising football recruits to endear themselves to the universities theyâ€™ll soon be attending. What Maryland recruit Stefon Diggs did recently, however, was not one of those things.
In arguably the most outrageous Jeremy Lin-related tweet, comment or description weâ€™ve seen from anyone thus far, here is what the Good Counsel (Md.) School product had to say on Twitter recently (via Yahoo! Sports via Larry Brown Sports):
While there was definitely room for a healthy debate when Floyd Mayweather Jr. sent out his tweet regarding Linsanity, itâ€™s probably safe to say that nobody is going to argue about the racist nature of Diggsâ€™ comment. Sure, heâ€™s still a kid â€“ but wow.

It is worth noting, though, that the AAJA didnâ€™t list any references to egg rolls and dumplings as no-nos when describing Lin. Maybe thatâ€™s why Diggs didnâ€™t know what he was saying was inappropriate.
