Mikhail Prokhorov and Jay-Z have made it no secret that they view the Nets' move from New Jersey to Brooklyn as an opportunity to start fresh. They brought in new (extremely overpaid) stars. They introduced a new logo. They have a new arena. And, on Friday, they’ll debut a brand new uniforms.

Or at least that was the plan.

Because of the day and age we live in, though, nothing really drops on the day it’s supposed to drop on anymore. Things get released early. People accidentally blab about something they should have stayed quiet about. You know how it goes.

On Wednesday morning, the good folks at ProBasketballTalk got their hands on what presumably is the new Nets set. Check it out:

Pretty slick, right? Same color scheme as the logo and gear that’s already available on the team store. Similar general feel to what Jay-Z has professed is his vision for how the squad will look. Obviously there is no guarantee that this is the real deal – but it probably is.

We’ll find out for sure on Friday.
