Kyrie Irving 'All Good' After Scary Fall In Team USA Win

Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving tweeted that he’s “all good” after a scary fall that knocked him out of Team USA’s game against Ukraine this evening.

In the fourth quarter of the USA’s 95-71 win over Ukraine, Irving drove to the basket and elevated. He was met in the air by two Ukrainian defenders and fell awkwardly to the floor, landing flat on his back. Irving writhed in pain for a moment before limping off the court.

In the hours following his fall, basketball fans feared the worst. Would the NBA lose another star player, Paul George being the first, to injury in the FIBA tournament? Thankfully, Irving sent out a tweet this afternoon saying he's fine:

Team USA has dominated the competition at the FIBA World Cup so far, winning all four of their group stage games by at least 20 points. The team now moves on to the Round of 16 in Barcelona.
