The Los Angeles Lakers did their very best to give away a game they should have won with relative ease on Sunday night, but that won’t be the thing that everyone is talking about come Monday morning. No, the biggest takeaway folks will have from L.A.’s 99-98 home victory over the Atlanta Hawks will be Kobe Bryant’s continued amazing play.
Bryant, 34, is having his best year since 2008 – perhaps even 2006. More impressive than his general efficiency and ability to get to the basket at will, though, is the increased amount of athletic displays we have seen from him this season.
Case in point:
Bryant finished with 34 points.
