Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant appeared on ‘Jimmel Kimmel Live’ Thursday night. Although his team is struggling and faces the very real possibility of missing the postseason this year, he seemed to be in good spirits.
Over the course of the interview Bryant touched on numerous topics including, but not limited to: his retirement plans, whether the Lakers would make the postseason, if he would have ever made a Dennis Rodman-type trek to North Korea and more. The part of their exchange that really stood out, though, was when Bryant suggested that any Laker who believed the team wouldn’t make the playoffs this year deserved to be traded.
“If anybody in that locker room would have said, ‘Well, I don’t know if we’re going to make it,’ I would have called the Buss family and said, ‘Cut this guy right now!’ Get him outta there!’” he said (via Larry Brown Sports).
