Jarrett Jack Hopes to Bring "Toughness, Scoring" to Golden State Warriors

| by The No Look Pass

Jarrett Jack was just traded to the Golden State Warriors a few days ago. In the first day of the Las Vegas Summer League, he showed up wearing a Golden State Warriors shirt. Always the true professional, Mr. Jack and I had a short conversation during the Warriors' first summer league game against the Lakers.

THE NO-LOOK PASS: It was a really tough situation in New Orleans. What did you learn from that?

JARRETT JACK: Just play hard, regardless of the situation. Whether you're in a winning situation or not, you go out and play hard every night.

TNLP: Now you're on the Golden State Warriors, what do you hope to bring to that squad?

JJ: Toughness, scoring, and just the mentality that we can't be just a one-sided ballclub.

TNLP: Stephen Curry is entrenched as the starting point guard. Does it matter if you start or not?

JJ: Not really. I've been in situations where I've come off the bench and done a lot of things. So neither role affects me at all.

TNLP: What's your impression of Harrison Barnes so far?

JJ: Tremendous player. Tremendous upside. I think he's a potential all-star in this league and I'm looking forward to playing with him.

TNLP: Last question, do you ever play as yourself in NBA2K12?

JJ: Sometimes! Not so much! But I play Madden more so than anything.

TNLP: Thanks a lot!

JJ: No problem.
