Could Shaquille O'Neal Be the Magic's New GM?

| by

Shaquille O'Neal has had an amazing career in the NBA. He also got his doctorate degree earlier this month from Barry University. But does any of that qualify him to be the new Orlando Magic GM? Maybe.

According to ESPN's Chris Broussard, Orlando may interview O'Neal for their now vacant GM position early next week.

It's surprising that Shaq would even consider this, really. He just joined TNT as an NBA analyst this year and is having a decent amount of success with Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, and Charles Barkley.

O'Neal played for the Orlando Magic from 1992-1996.Then he took his talents to Los Angeles to play alongside Kobe Bryant and form one of the best duos of all time.

If Orlando is actually considering interviewing Shaq, it must just be to get publicity and sell tickets.

We'll keep an eye on this situation. Check back for updates.
