2012 NBA Highlights: Los Angeles Clippers vs. San Antonio Spurs (Nov. 19)

| by Alex Groberman

The Los Angeles Clippers are the best team in the NBA right now. That may sound strange, and it definitely isn’t a particularly pleasant sentence for a Lakers fan to write, but it’s the truth. Outside of the Memphis Grizzlies, nobody in the league is playing better basketball than the Clippers right now – and the Clippers beat the Grizzlies at the beginning of the year.

On Monday night, the best team in the league squared off against a very formidable foe in the San Antonio Spurs. If any group around could give the Clippers trouble, as we learned in the playoffs last year, this one would be it.

Despite getting a legit battle from San Antonio, L.A. ultimately prevailed 92-87. Chris Paul led the way for the winning team with 19 points and eight assists. Blake Griffin pitched in 16 points and 12 rebounds. Tim Duncan led the way for the Spurs with 20 points and 14 rebounds.

Check out the highlights from this one in the video below.
